Coastal San Pedro Neighborhood Council has provided grant funding to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum over the years. Recently, the museum thanks Coastal San Pedro Neighborhood Council on its Facebook page. You might want to check it out. Coastal is also acknowledged as a sponsor of the museum's USS Los Angeles exhibit, which just opened. If you haven't been to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum (on the waterfront at the foot of Sixth Street) be sure to go soon. It is open every day except Monday.
